Progress on Flat Creek Flood Protection Study

Walker Partners and HDR presented an update to the public on the Flat Creek Flood Protection Study. The meeting focused on Flat Creek, which has caused flooding damage for the residents of Waco, Robinson, Woodway and Hewitt.

During the meeting, presenters highlighted flooding throughout McLennan County over the past 100 years, and discussed how the extensive mapping will help guide future progress.

Engineers will continue to seek community feedback, meet with local residents, and map locations of concern for flooding.  Read more here.
