Otto E. Wiederhold, P.E.

Mr. Wiederhold has over 33 years of experience as a Professional Engineer and over 42 years of experience in the engineering field. With more than 29 years of experience as an office and branch manager, he has been involved with managing and scheduling personnel as well as all aspects of municipal engineering projects. He has an impeccable reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget to the complete satisfaction of municipal clients in the Central Texas Area.
This experience was gained primarily in central Texas and includes water and wastewater improvements, street and drainage improvements, watershed detention structures, erosion control structures, storm water management, and industrial and institutional site development. He has been a project manager for more than 180 civil engineering projects. His clients include municipalities, counties, school districts, economic development corporations, and industrial foundations.
Otto has lived in the City of Harker Heights since 1991 and has acted as the City Engineer for Harker Heights for much of the last 16 years. In this capacity, he has reviewed all subdivisions and site development plans for the City in regard to paving, drainage, water, and wastewater design. He has also served in this capacity for the City of Gatesville for the past ten years. During 2005 through 2007, he acted as the City of Copperas Cove interim City Engineer until they were able to fill that position with a full-time employee.
Otto has played a leadership role in the master planning of water, wastewater, and reuse water for many Central Texas Communities. To date, he has completed ten masterplans in Central Texas and has just begun number eleven.
