Nick Kohel, PE, has more than 15 years of design experience working on various municipal and transportation projects. Nick has designed a multitude of types of projects which range from master planning, to design, to construction management. Mr. Kohel has civil engineering experience in the disciplines of vehicular parking lot design, storm drain and floodplain analyses, municipal street and highway improvements, airport improvements, water and wastewater improvements. Nick has designed a number of paving, drainage, water, wastewater and improvement projects for the following clients: City of Killeen, Harker Heights, Gatesville, and Copperas Cove. In addition to municipal projects, Nick has performed civil sitework and parking lot designs for a variety of clients including: Killeen Independent School District (ISD), Midway ISD, Copperas Cove ISD, Baylor University, First Texas Bank, Azbell Electronics, and Trillium Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). In addition to design, Mr. Kohel has in-depth experience in construction management. The diversity of his experience gives him get a unique strength in project design, construction management, and conflict resolution.
