Alan Munger, P.E., CFM
With more than 25 years of civil engineering experience, Alan Munger joins the Walker Partners Team as Manager of our new Bryan/College Station office.
Originally from Houston, Alan graduated from Texas A&M in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. After studying several areas of specialty within Civil Engineering, he quickly found that providing transportation solutions was the area of his greatest passion and the area where he felt he could best serve the citizens of Texas.
Alan has spent much of his career working in transportation engineering in the Greater Houston area and the greater Brazos County area adjoining Bryan and College Station. Most recently, Alan served Brazos County as the County Engineer. Successful projects requiring collaboration of citizens, the facility owner, the design team, and the construction team which serve to improve the quality of life in Texas communities provide Alan with great pride. Throughout his career, he has strived to bring together diverse interest groups into unified stakeholders with common visions and goals.
Outside of his professional life, Alan enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys fishing, watching baseball, playing 42 (dominos), vegetable gardening, rooting for the Aggies, and reading. He and his wife Michele are the proud parents of 2 grown sons, Ryan and Reid. The Munger’s have been married for 31 years, are members of Christ UMC in College Station, and reside in Bryan.
