Lacy Lakeview Moving Forward with Water, Sewer Improvements
The city of Lacy Lakeview is wrapping up a $1 million investment to improve sewer capacity, while also embarking on a water project, all aimed at preparing for growth.
Initial work started five years ago when City Manager Keith Bond wrote a grant for money to replace a sewage lift station on Mesquite Tree Road that was severely undersized. Bond said he had calculated potential growth in the area, compared it to the capacity load of the lift station and realized it was due for replacement.
