Korey has been employed with Walker Partners since applying for a Co-op position in 2008, to satisfy requirements for his degree from TSTC. He worked as a field technician while finishing his degree and has worked full-time since graduating. After working for four years on the field crews as an instrument technician, he moved into the office and began drafting and reducing survey field data using AutoCAD. In October of 2012, Korey took and passed the State Surveyor-in-Training exam.
Korey has worked as a survey technician drafting many topographic surveys for design work including residential and commercial developments, water, wastewater, storm sewer, and street projects. He has also performed the majority of the drafting for many Baylor University projects, including Baylor Stadium, Baylor Track and Field complex, Baylor Business School, Baylor Tailgating area, Baylor pedestrian path and University Parks Drive improvements. He also provides technical support for the four Registered Professional Land Surveyors and two Survey Technicians with his extensive knowledge of AutoCAD including Carlson Survey and Civil 3D.
