As the owner of Walker Partners, Jed has 26 years of experience in civil engineering work, 20 of which have been in the Waco area. During this time, he has designed and managed projects throughout Texas which include water and wastewater improvements, street and drainage improvements, urban stormwater management improvements, floodplain improvements, airport improvements, landfill improvements, institutional projects, sports complexes and stadiums, industrial projects, and land development projects. Since moving to Waco in 1990, he has acted as project manager or director for over 900 projects.

Jed has called Waco his home since 1967. As a graduate of Richfield High School in 1979, Jed has many close ties to the Waco community and is very involved in many community activities. Through the years, Jed has invested much of his time and energy to those organizations that he feels makes Central Texas a great place to live and work.
