Bret has over 13 years of professional civil project engineering experience along with 2 years pre-graduate experience with the Texas Department of Transportation. During this time he has provided project management, project engineering, construction administration, and construction inspection services for projects including water distribution and transmission lines, wastewater collection lines, wastewater forcemains, pump stations, lift stations, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and site work along with preparing many discharge permits for both water and wastewater plants, water and wastewater master plans, and water modeling of water systems. He has extensive experience with projects funded through United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) – Rural Development, USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service, Texas Water Development Board and Community Development Block Grant.

Bret worked in the construction field preparing take-offs and cost estimates for bidding along with project management for site work and utility projects. He also spent three years at the Brazos River Authority as a project manager for water and wastewater projects which enables him to see projects from the owner’s perspective. With this experience along with the construction experience he is able to bring valuable insight from all points of view to ensure the successful design, bidding, and construction of many different types of projects.
